How long and frequent are therapy sessions?
You can expect sessions to average about 50 minutes. While many clients engage in weekly therapy, the frequency and duration will be determined by you and your therapist.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept:
- Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO
- Aetna

What if you don't accept my insurance?
Although we are out-of-network with all other carriers, Anna will provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance. Please contact Anna at annapmcinc@gmail.com to determine your coverage.
What if I don't have insurance? (Out-of-pocket)

The intake session (first session) is $185.
The standard fee is $175 per session.

What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is called an intake session. This is where you will share information about what brought you to therapy, some bio-psycho-social history, asking me questions that you might have, etc. This will help you make an informed decision regarding working with me through HIPAA compliant telehealth platform. The purpose is to get enough information to identify your needs and goals, so that we can make a treatment plan with minimal emotional hangover.

Is everything I say kept completely private?
Privacy and confidentiality are important piece of the therapeutic process. What you share with your therapist stays with the therapist with a few exceptions. By law, we are required to break confidentiality and report to the appropriate authorities if we learn that you are a danger to yourself or others or if we learn of actual or threatened harm to those who are vulnerable such as children, elderly, or people with special needs. Additionally, with your signed permission, we may collaborate with another provider such as your primary care physician or psychiatrist. We’ll discuss all of this in greater detail during our first appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment please cancel before 24 hours. The fee for cancelling or missed appointments of $175, unless you have provided us with a 24-hour notice.
To reduce the risk of missing an appointment, you will receive an appointment reminder 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment and another reminder approximately 10 minutes before your scheduled time. You can choose to receive reminders by email, text, or both email and text.
