Individual Therapy

You have the answers you need to heal. I am your instrument to bring them forward

Trauma-Trained, Trauma-Informed Integrative Approach

Individual therapy services are designed to support healing and growth by combining a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your unique needs. I integrate somatic techniques, talk therapy, person-centered, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) to address trauma and developmental/attachment injuries.

This combination of therapies provides a holistic and integrated approach to healing the impact of trauma and developmental injuries. The goal is to help you reconnect with your true self, process painful emotions, and build a solid foundation for growth and well-being.

Why these therapies?

The purpose for this specific combination is to Create a Safe Environment that will help you feel secure enough to explore painful memories and experiences. It assists in Regulating Emotional Responses that enables you to manage overwhelming feelings, dissociation or flashbacks associated with trauma. Additionally, it Fosters Empowerment that allows you  to reclaim control over emotional and physical responses. Finally, this combination will Strengthen Coping Mechanisms and teach you healthy tools and techniques to handle distressing moments.

By focusing on stabilization, you are better prepared to work through the underlying trauma and deep attachment wounds. You will have increased confidence in knowing you have the tools to manage your emotional states. The process supports long-term healing, resilience, and the ability to engage with deeper therapeutic work at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

Somatic Therapy connects the mind and body, helping you become more aware of how your physical sensations and emotions are linked. By exploring bodily experiences, we can release tension, reduce stress, and help you process trauma in a safe, grounded way. Somatic therapy can offer a deeper understanding of how trauma is stored in the body and support you in finding healing through movement, breath, and other body-focused techniques.
Talk Therapy (Psychotherapy) allows you to explore and process emotions, thoughts, and behaviors in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. We will work together to uncover the root causes of distress, gain clarity, and build strategies for coping with challenges related to trauma and developmental injuries.

Person-Centered Therapy is rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard, focusing on providing a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship. You are the expert on your own experiences, and by fostering a warm, compassionate environment, I help you tap into your inherent strengths and wisdom. This method is especially effective for those navigating trauma and attachment-related wounds.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative approach that views the mind as being made up of different “parts” that each have their own perspectives, beliefs, and emotions. Many of these parts are shaped by past trauma or developmental injury. Using IFS, you identify and understand these parts, allowing for healing and integration of fragmented aspects of yourself. IFS is particularly useful in addressing complex trauma and helping to heal attachment wounds by facilitating self-compassion and inner harmony.
Trauma and Developmental/Attachment Injury Focus: Whether the source of trauma is past abuse, neglect, or disrupted attachment, our therapy is trauma-informed and sensitive to how early experiences shape your emotional landscape. We work with you to process and heal past wounds, build healthier attachments, and foster emotional resilience. Our approach helps to repair the impact of developmental injuries, allowing you to create stronger, more secure relationships in the present and future.
Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment is designed to help you feel safe, grounded, and stable before diving into deeper trauma processing. This approach emphasizes safety, trust, and a gradual, step-by-step process of building emotional regulation and resilience. The goal is to help you regain control over your life, feel more present, and develop a sense of stability before addressing the more painful aspects of your trauma.
